Better Minds supports children, young people and families. They offer a welcoming community space with coffee mornings and other sessions for families to enjoy.

 Affordable food and essentials are available at around one-third of retail price.

Weekly hot meals: Free eat-in or takeaway meals every Wednesday.

Blackpool Carers Centre

Blackpool Carers Centre provides free activities for carers and families from Monday to Saturday.

Sessions include Knit and Natter - a social group for carers, Chair-based Excercise, monthly support groups and lunch clubs.

Blackpool Football Club Community Trust

Sessions include - Learn Together: Tuesdays, 3.30pm to 5.00pm and Move More Together: Wednesdays, 3.30pm to 5.00pm

The Blackpool Football Club Community Trust provides warm meals and family activities at a cost of £1 per family.

Claremont First Step

Sessions include: Basic Cooking Skills (Monday, 11.00am to 2.00pm). Lunch, games, quizzes and bingo on a Tuesday from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Crafts, quizzes and lunch on a Wednesday from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Raid the Larder, breakfast, lunch and activities on a Thursday from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Lunch, bingo and quizzes on a Friday from 9.00am to 1.30pm

Claremont First Step provides weekly sessions for all ages, and 'Raid the Larder' at a small fee of £1 if affordable.

Affordable grocery shoppin (£5 for 12 items, £5 annual memnership, free memberships available). Free courses and workshops in partnership with local organisations. Season hampers (Easter and Christmas) for members. Regular coffee mornings with free breakfast and drinks. 'Pay-it-forward' vouchers for this in immediate crisis. All groups, events and support services are free of charge.

Women-only drop-in for advice and emergency provisions (between 10.00am to 4.00pm).

Seasonal sessions in local parks or community venues (e.g., family hubs).
Online group for those unable to attend in person: recipe sharing, peer support and digital skills.
Some sessions have male users, so they can access the hub between 9.00am to 10.00am and 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Monthly sessions.

Ongoing bespoke support via face-to-face, digital, and telephone contact with youth and community worker.

All activities and support are free of charge.

Tea Time Hub: Tuesdays Every Tuesday during term time from 3.30pm to 5.30pm

All About You: Free course for adults aged 19+. Helps people look at what their next steps could be (volunteering, looking to go back into some form of education or working) - it’s a six-week course that starts on Tuesday 13 January. 9.30am to 11.30am every Tuesday.

Tea Time Hub: . Families welcome after school to play games and do crafts - plus a meal is included. This group is currently full, but families can contact karen@sscp.co.uk to be added to the waiting list.
Wednesday One-Stop-Shop: Restarts on Tuesday 6 January and runs till mid March. Guest speaker each week offering advice on cost of living, healthy eating and health and wellbeing. Session includes a buffet followed by a seated exercise class.
Thursday Lunch: Cafe style choice of menu lunch club - the cost depends on what you have. Booking required prior as this is a very busy group. Call 01253 405490 or pop into The Hub at 120 Highfield Road, FY4 2JF to book.
Please note - To be able to attend this lunch club you need to attend one of the classes on a Thursday, for example card making in the morning or games in the afternoon.
