Consultations and other engagement

If you live, work in Blackpool or are part of a local organisation, we want to hear your views.

We run consultations, engagement activities, and surveys to gather feedback on local issues and council services. These are managed by our in-house infusion research team.

Your feedback helps us understand what works well and where changes may be needed, as well as how people’s experiences and expectations change over time.

View our current consultations and engagement activity below and have your say.

Your Blackpool, your heritage

Tell us what matters most about Blackpool's heritage.

Blackpool Council has prepared a proposed Heritage Investment Strategy for 2026 to 2031. The strategy aims to protect and celebrate Blackpool's heritage, support communities, improve places, and encourage future investment. We would like to hear your views to help ensure the strategy reflects what matters most to local people.

The key points of the proposed heritage investment strategy have been summarised in a one-page overview, which is shown in the survey. Alternatively, view the full proposed Heritage Investment Strategy 2026 to 2031.

Shaping Blackpool's Play Areas Together

Blackpool Council is looking at local play areas to better understand the role they play in the lives of children, young people and families.

We'd like to hear about your experiences of using play areas, what makes them great places to play and what you think is important for the future. Your views will help us understand how play areas are used and valued across Blackpool.
