If the holder of a premises licence dies, becomes insolvent or becomes mentally incapable, an interim authority notice can be applied for which will allow the premises to trade until the licence can be transferred.

An interim authority notice will lapse after 3 months if a transfer application hasn’t been made.

Download and complete the interim authority notice form [PDF 345KB]. Submit the form together with the fee of £23.

A copy of the application must be sent to the Licensing Unit at Blackpool police and to the Home Office (Immigration Enforcement).
