Applications for Reception Places September 2019
If your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 you need to apply for their Reception place to start in September 2019.
Do you live within the boundary of Blackpool?
Yes - You must apply to Blackpool Council, no matter which primary schools you are interested in, whether located in Blackpool or in another local authority area (for example, Poulton, Thornton Cleveleys or Lytham St Annes).
No - If you do not live in Blackpool (if you pay your council tax to Wyre or Fylde), then you must apply to Lancashire County Council

Children who attend a nursery that is attached to a school or academy do not automatically move into reception.
Attendance at a nursery is not taken into consideration when places in the reception classes are being allocating.
