Who is a Corporate parent?
Blackpool Council is the 'Corporate Parent' to every child and young person in the care of Blackpool children's services
This means that everyone who works there must make it their priority to ensure that every child and young person in care gets the right help and support to be safe, happy and healthy. We want to make sure that all children in Blackpool have a good education, all have access to the same opportunities and get the best start in life.
Always asking the question... Is this good enough for my child?
Your Corporate Parent Board
The corporate parenting board brings your corporate parents together to make sure all the children and young people in our care are getting the right care and support and check we are keeping the promises we made to you in The 5 Promises.
