A simpler, cleaner way to recycle
We’re making recycling easier for residents currently on a red sack collection with 7 new bin hubs in selected areas, which contain four bins to enable residents a new way to separate waste.
This is part of the government’s new simpler recycling legislation.
These new bin hubs will:
- Replace red sacks and allow your household to recycle
- Be located close to your property
- Provide clear signage on each bin to inform you what goes where
- There will be no specific collection date; these hubs allow you to dispose of household waste at any time
- An indoor food caddy will be supplied with liners for easy food waste disposal
- These bins are for residents only – not for businesses
