Fraud and theft has an impact on the amount of council tax you pay and the amount of resources available to the community.
We are committed to protecting the public funds we administer. If the fraud you are reporting involves any of the matters listed below you will need to complete the online form in one session.
- Council tax reduction
- Business rates (Non domestic rates)
- Blue Badge fraud or abuse
- Any other external or internal fraud, or any theft of the council's assets
We may want to contact you for further details it is therefore important that you keep any relevant information about the fraud secure.
We understand that some people may wish to remain anonymous but by doing so it may be more difficult for us to investigate the matter you wish to report. We will not disclose your identity to anyone if you have asked us not to.

Department of Work and Pensions benefit fraud
If the fraud you wish to report involves a Department for Work and Pension benefits such as:
- Housing Benefit
- Universal Credit
- Jobseeker Allowance
- Employment Support Allowance
- Tax Credits
