Authority monitoring reports

Authority monitoring reports (AMRs) are prepared annually to monitor development in the borough in the previous year. 

They set out progress against a range of measures; such as the number of new dwellings built, the amount of new commercial floorspace completed, and the borough's level of employment.

AMRs also set out plans and projections for the future, including the council's up to date housing land supply.

Housing monitoring documents

The Housing Monitoring Report (HMR) is prepared annually to monitor housing permissions and completions in the borough over the previous financial year. It draws on relevant data from a number of sources including new build dwellings, conversions and changes of use, lawful development certificates for existing and proposed uses and prior approvals for change of use.

It further reports on housing commitments, detailing the number of extant planning permissions that have not yet been implemented.

Annual infrastructure funding statement 

The annual infrastructure funding statement reports on developer contributions received and spent over the previous financial year. It covers developer contributions towards the provision of new infrastructure or the improvement of existing infrastructure.

This includes;

  • Public open space
  • Sports facilities and green infrastructure
  • Affordable housing
  • Education
  • Highways and transportation
  • Health
